(BMC type IIIa; N.770; S.1148).

Small rim chip, toned about very fine, With very old stock ticket circa 1950 identifying coin as Sudbury Mint as a variety of Hildebrand 3578. Modern thinking has proven these Mint readings to relate to Southwark.
