Baldwin's Auctions has held two auctions in Dubai to date, and three in London specializing in Islamic material, in conjunction with Arabian Coins and Medals, LLC. Much of the material offered was of Islamic and Middle Eastern interest, but we have also successfully sold coins of the world at these sales. These auctions have brought some remarkable prices, including an astonishing AED 220,000 (approximately £35,000) for an extremely rare Umayyad dirham of al-Dasakir 88. Baldwin's Auctions is the only Western firm with specialized numismatic auction experience in the Gulf States.
