Great Britain, Somersetshire, Bath, Copper Penny Trade Token, dated 1794, obverse: view of entrance to the botanic gardens with gate and archway, BATH TOKEN and date below groundline, HE SPAKE OF TREES FROM THE CEDAR TREE THAT IS IN LEBANON around, reverse: shrubs growing up a ruined wall (possibly part of a castle) next to a leafy tree, “I : KINGS : CH : 4 : V : 33” (from the King James bible : “And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes”) below groundline, EVEN UNTO THE HYSSOP THAT SPRINGETH OUT OF THE WALL around, edge inscribed ON DEMAND WE PROMISE TO PAY ONE PENNY, diam. 31mm (Dalton & Hamer 5).
