Great Britain, Univeral Hall of Commerce, White Metal Subscription Ticket valid for 1 Year, dated 1843, engraved by WW (William Wyon?), obverse: winged figure of Commerce standing on the top of the world with arms outstetched, small “W.W” at left, reverse: “UNIVERSAL HALL OF COMMERCE” curved above, “SUBSCRIPTION TICKET FOR ONE YEAR” at centre with beaded oval and engraved line (space for a name or initials?) below, “NOT TRANSFERABLE” curved below, named to “Honble. Edward Bouverie by Order of the Proprietors 1794. Westley” engraved in script in five lines at centre, simple blue and white enamelled wide border around, edge plain, diam. 42mm (Davis & Walters, “Tickets and Passes”, 109).
