Edward IV (1461-83), Penny, type VI, light cross and pellets coinage (1473-8?), Drogheda Mint, crowned facing bust within beaded circle, pellets either side of neck and crown, legend surrounding rev long cross pattée, tri-pellets in each inner angle, beaded circle and legend surrounding, 0.44g (Burns Dr-12; DF p.31 note; S.6373/6374).
Struck on a small fan, weak in parts, once cleaned now toned, good fine for issue and of the highest rarity.
