Edward the Confessor (1042-66), Penny, pyramids type (1065-6), Spreclinc of Winchester Mint, crowned bust right with sceptre, legend commences at lower left, EDPARD REX outer beaded border both sides, rev annulet at centre of short voided cross, pellet topped pyramids in angles, linear circle surrounding, +SPRACELINC ON, 1.16g (Freeman 290; BMC type XV; N.831; S.1184).
Toned about very fine and unusual having no Mint name on the coin, and known to be Winchester from other die work by this moneyer that also has an uncommon name.
