EGYPT AND SUDAN MEDAL, 1882-1889, undated reverse, single clasp, The Nile 1884-85 (935 Pte C. Cordery. 2/ D. of Corn: L. I.); officially engraved in sloping capitals.
Attractively toned, a few tiny marks, good very fine.
Private Charles Henry Cordery was born c. 1864 at Islington, London, and attested for service 16 January 1883 at Bodmin, having previously worked as a Packer. He served in Egypt for one and a half years, and was discharged from the Army Reserve 12 January 1895.
