James I (1603-25), Third Coinage (1619-25), Quarter-Laurel, fourth laureate bust left, ties form a bracket shape around value behind, mint mark lis (1623-4) obverse, beaded inner circle both sides, rev. mint mark trefoil (1624), crowned quartered shield of arms on long cross fourchee, legend ends iacob 2.20gms (cf.Schneider 98/100; N.2119; S.2642A).
A little ragged in shape, with an excellent portrait and extremely rare with the muled mint marks, nearly EF,
