Baldwin’s is a long-established company, with a history going back to the 1872.

At the Adelphi Terrace address, A.H. Baldwin and Sons Ltd offer coins for collectors, including Ancient, Mediaeval, British and Foreign Coins, Commemorative Medals, Tokens and Numismatic Books. Our stock is the largest in the UK. Click on one of the links to the left to bring up an example of our fixed-price stock lists and to view our stock of coins listed online. This is only a small sample of the stock we hold at our London premises and new lists are produced on a regular basis in most fields of numismatic interest.

Baldwins also organise Auctions. We conduct regular auctions of all numismatic material; coins from all areas and historical periods but also Banknotes, Military Medals and Books. The Auctions are run worldwide : London, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong, we have also conducted auctions in the United Arab Emirates.

Baldwin’s Auctions were the the first Numismatic Auction House in the UK to offer live audio-bidding on the internet. And we then took this succesful feature to the Orient when the Hong Kong auction used the facility in August 2006, six months before any other auction house offered this service in the Far East. Over the internet you can bid on-line with sound. The lots will appear on your screen as they are being sold in the room and you can hear the auctioneer selling each lot – he is be aware of your bids as you make them.

If you would like to sell any of your coins in our auctions or directly to us, please contact us at coins@baldwin.co.uk or auctions@baldwin.co.uk with as many details as possible about the items or, preferably, with pictures. We can offer written valuations for a small fee and do undertake house visits where appropriate or to pick up collections for sale.
