For more information on how to consign your items for auction please contact us at or call +44 (0)20 7930 6879.

Step 1:

Initially, all we require is for you to email a clear photograph of your coins, and any other details you might have. If you have a large number of items, we would recommend sending several pictures of the best quality coins, with a list of all the others you may have. Our team will appraise using these pictures and get in touch advising the next cause of action.

Step 2:

The next stage would be for us to see the items in hand. Items can be brought in person directly to our premises at 399 Strand. If this is not convenient, items can be posted or shipped to us. We can arrange insurance and advise the best process. Alternatively we can arrange a home visit to view your items and arrange collection should you wish to consign. Generous cash advances are available subject to agreement.

Step 3:

Having agreed to consign your coins with us, we will issue an auction receipt for your items with agreed commission charges, reserves and terms and conditions of sale. Your items will then be examined by to the relevant specialist to be catalogued, researched and finally your items will be pictured for the catalogue/website and marketing purposes.

Two weeks before the sale we will email or post a statement of your items to double check the descriptions and ensure the reserves are correct. A copy of the catalogue will also be sent to you.

Step 4:

On the day of the sale you are welcome to attend in person or watch online, live from the comfort of your own home. Within seven days of the completed sale we will send a statement outlining your results, showing the amount your items have sold for, any that have remained unsold and the total amount due to you. Payment will be made by bank transfer 35 days after the sale, subject to payment being received from the buyer.
