Henry VII (1485-1509), Fine Gold Angel, class I, St Michael with one foot on top of dragon, other foot intrudes beaded circle, dragons tail intrudes left wing, beaded circle surrounding, initial mark lis dimidiated with rose (1485-87) both sides, saltire stops both sides, nimbus and spear to outer border, hEnRIC’x DIxx GRAxx REXxx AnGL xZx FRAnCxx, rev inverted die axis, ship sailing right, bowsprit intrudes legend, ropes two to left, one to right, quartered shield upon hull, cross above, h to left, rose to right, no stops in legend, PER CRVCEm TVAm SALVA nOS XPC REDET, outer beaded border both sides, 4.82g (cf Schneider 504; S.C.B.I. 23:-; N.1674; S.2179).

Toned with light crease, a little light in weight, otherwise about very fine and very rare, no example listed in the Ashmoleon sylloge.
