Charles II (1660-85), Pattern Silver Farthing struck by John Roettier, 1665, short haired laureate and cuirassed bust facing left, date below truncation. Legend reads CAROLVS.A.CAROLO. Rev, Britannia seated left on globe, BRITANNIA inscribed below in exergue. Legend reads QVATVOR.MA-RIA. VINDICO, edge straight grained (BMC.407; Cooke. 772).

Attractive colourful tone, light haymaking on obverse, extremely fine, reverse better.
