William III (1694-1702), 1698, Silver proof farthing, laureate and cuirassed bust facing right, legend reads GVLIELMVS. TERTIVS. Rev, Britannia seated left with shield and spear, double exergue line, legend surrounds reading BRITAN-NIA 1698, stop after date in legend. (BMC. 680; Cooke. 542).
Extremely fine, nicely toned with mirrored fields, very scarce.
