George I (1714-27), Shilling, 1723, second laureate bust right, Roses and Plumes, reads GEORGIVS DG M BR FR ET HIB REX F D. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, seven strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, roses and plumes in angles, date flanking top crown, legend surrounding BRVN ET L DVX SRIATH ET EL (S.3649; Bull.1593; ESC.1179).

Light Silver toning with amber undertones around the periphery, portrait pleasing with all the main areas visible, some weakness in the high points. Reverse, concise with mint bloom,. Near very fine for issue, scarce.
