George II (1727-60), Two Guineas, 1739, intermediate laureate head facing left, toothed border both sides, legend reads GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms, integrating the Arms of Hanover, seven strings in Irish harp, date either side of crown, legend reads M.B.F. ET. H. REX. F.D. B. ET. L. D. S.R.I.A.T. ET. E., chevron milled edge (Schneider 576; MCE 293; S.3668).
Minor rim bruise on reverse, otherwise about extremely fine for issue with proof like surfaces.
