George II (1727-1760), Crown, 1741, young laureate and draped bust facing left, toothed border both sides. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, eight strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, roses in angles, date either side above crown. Edge inscription reads, decimo qvarto (ESC 123; Bull 1666; S.3687).
