Description

George II (1727-60), Crown, 1741, edge inscription DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. DECIMO. QVARTO, laureate draped and cuirassed bust facing left, legend reads GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA. Rev, crowned shields cruciform, incorporating Hanoverian arms, eight strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, roses in angles (Bull. 1666; ESC. 123; S.3687).

A couple of unobtrusive surface markings, good extremely fine.
