George II (1727- 60), Guinea, 1745, Lima below, intermediate laureate head facing left, legend reads GEORGIUS.II. DEI.GRATIA., toothed border both sides. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms, incorporating Hanoverian arms, seven strings to the Irish harp, date at top divided by top crown, legend reads .M.B.F.ET.H.REX.F.D.B.ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T.ET.E., edge curve grained (MCE.320; S.3679).

Good very fine, die flaw running above Lima into the legend, well struck and toned, very rare.
