Victoria (1837-1901), Crown, 1844, young head facing left, hair bound with double filet, W.WYON inscribed in relief on truncation, date below, toothed border both sides. Legend reads VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned square topped quartered shield in laurel wreath, eight strings to Irish harp, emblematic rose, thistle and shamrock below, legend reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:, edge with cinquefoil stops, inscription reads DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI VIII (ESC 281: Bull. 2562: S.3882).

Extremely fine, golden toning with an underlying mint brilliance.
