Victoria (1837-1901), Smith’s Decimal Pattern One Centum, 1846, struck in silver, by Marrion and Gausby, Birmingham. Young head facing left, hair tied back with a double fillet, MARRIAN & GAUSBY.D.BIRM. below by the toothed border, raised rim both sides. Rev, legend reads SMITH ON DECIMAL CURRENCY, ONE / CENTUM struck in centre, date below, edge plain (P. p.479, Fr.823).

As struck, small bruise at 3 o clock on obverse, very rare.
