Victoria (1837-1901), Five Pounds, 1893, crowned old veiled bust facing left, T.B. initials below truncation for Thomas Brock, legend surrounding reads, VICTORIA· DEI· GRA· BRITT· REGINA· FID· DEF· IND· IMP· toothed border both sides. Rev, St George and dragon facing right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue for Benedetto Pistrucci (S.3872 ). Some marks and nicks in the body of the coin and edges, synonymous with the currency issue.
Otherwise extremely fine in the strike, well detailed, toned.
