A 1914-15 Trio awarded to Lance Corporal William Palmer, 11th Battalion Notts & Derby Regt, who was discharged due to being “no longer physically fit for war service” on the 29th July 1916 comprising 1914-15 Star, (16538 L. Cpl W. Palmer. Notts & Derby: R.); 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals, (16538 Pte W. Palmer. Notts. & Derby. R.), very fine.
William Palmer enlisted into The Sherwood Foresters on the 10th September 1914 in Mansfield, he landed in France on the 28th August 1915, sold with copy Medal Index Card, Medal Rolls, Silver War Badge list and copy service papers.
