A 1914/15 Trio March 1916 Ypres Salient Casualty group awarded to Private Charles Moore Fox, 8th (Service) Battalion East York Regt, comprising 1914-15 Star, (16599 Pte C.M. Fox. E. York: R.), 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals (16599 Pte. C.M. Fox. E. York. R.), contained within posting envelope to next of kin, lightly toned very fine.

Private Charles Moore Fox was born at Backworth, Northumberland, he enlisted at Ashington he was Killed in Action on the 5th March 1916, his body was not located at the end of the war and he is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, sold with copy CWGC information, and copy Medal Index card and copy service papers.
