A 1914-1920 British War Medal awarded to Airman 2nd Class, Airship Rigger, Charles Frederick White, Royal Air Force, late Royal Flying Corps, (10963. 2. A.M. C.F. White. R.A.F.), toned fine

Charles Frederick White joined the Royal Flying Corps on the 23rd of October 1915, a Printer by Trade from London, he embarked for France on the 9th of February 1916He was posted to & B.S. attached 63rd Royal Naval Division. His Trade is given as Rigger (Airships). He transferred to the Royal Air Force on the 1st of April 1918 and was discharged from the R.A.F. on the 14th of March 1919 due to Heart Trouble and Trench Feet, he was awarded Silver War Badge No. 6820
