A Great War Royal Navy Pair comprising 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals, (J66430, F.M. Skelton. Ord. R.N.), very fine
Frederick Milner Skelton was born on the 24th of December 1890 in Leeds Yorkshire to George and Tamar Skeleton of Hunslet Yorkshire. He Joined the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve and transferred to the Royal Navy serving aboard HMS Dido and Hecla, he was discharged to shore on the 25th of February 1919, he died in Yorkshire in 1976

George William Skelton was born on the 24th of April 1898 in the Parish of Armley Hall, Yorkshire to George and Tamar Skelton. The 1939 Census show George noted as Special Constable 179 living in Leeds. George died in Leeds on the 16th of January 1957.
