Albert Saltmarsh was born in Brighton in 1886, joined as a boy soldier aged 14 in 1900 with Service number 6232. He served Home until 1906 the India until 1912. Served with the 11th Battalion The Manchester Regiment and 1/4th Battalion North Lancashire Regt. Wounded in action October 1918.
