Edward William O’Keefe first served in France as 5538 Private Middlesex Regiment, transferring to the Machine Gun Corps with the number 20364. He was awarded the Military Medal in the London Gazette of the 19th of March 1918 this Gazette carries the awards for the Battle of Cambrai 20-30th of November 1917. He later served as WR347644 Royal Engineers; his Pension Card states Dead – 13th of May 1927
