A Great War Royal Flying Corps, Royal Air Force pair awarded to Air Mechanic 2nd Class Leonard David Lion, RFC/RAF comprising 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals, (55442 2. A.M. L.D. Lion. R.A.F.), toned fine.
Leonard David Lion was born in 1888 a Buying Clerk from Clapton London when he enlisted into the Royal Flying Corps on the 23rd of January 1917. His papers state he was a Stores Clerk who served in France with the R.F.C. from the 3rd of February 1917 transferring to the R.A.F. on the 1st of April 1918 and returning to England on the 15th of May 1919, he was Discharged from the Royal Air Force on the 30th of April 1920. Sold with Copy Service record and Copy Muster Roll.
