A Great War Silver War Badge awarded to 2/2301, Private William Everall, 2nd Battalion Manchester Regiment who was awarded Silver War Badge number (19076) toned very fine.

Private Everall enlisted on the 26th April 1912, he landed in France on the 15th August 1914 and is entitled to the 1914 Star with clasp, British War and Victory Medals, he was discharged due to Wounds on the 30th June 1915.

Worthy of further research, the 2nd Battalion The Manchester’s fought at Mons, Le Cateau and the retreat to the Marne before moving to the Ypres Salient.

Sold with copy Medal Index Card, and Silver War Badge roll confirming award of Badge 19076.
