Description
A Khedives Sudan Medal Awarded to Corporal, later Serjeant C. King, 1st and 5th Battalions Northumberland Fusiliers, one of only 60 Men of the Battalion to receive the Khedives Sudan without Clasp. He went on to serve in the 2nd Boer War where he Died at Klerksdorp on the 1st of February 1902, comprising Khedive’s Sudan Medal, no clasp, (3283 Corpl C. King. 5th Fusrs), very fine
Cpl/Sjt King is entitled to the Queen’s Sudan Medal, Khedives Sudan Medal without claps, the Queen’s South Africa Medal with the clasps, Belmont, Modder River, Orange Free State and Transvaal, and the Kings South Africa with both date bars.
