A WW2 Liverpool ARP First Aid Department Member who was awarded a British Empire Medal in the King’s Birthday Honours List of June 1949, awarded to William Michael Keenan, Liverpool ARP and Works Manager and Foreman of Casartelli Brothers the Mathematical Instrument Makers, Liverpool, comprising, British Empire Medal, GVIR, (William M. Keenan), 1939-45 Defence Medal, unnamed as issued, mounted for wear, toned very fine.

Sold with BEM Royal Mint Case of Issue, and copied London Gazette entries and census information confirming ARP First Aid Department.
