A WW2 North-West Europe Casualty Group of 4 awarded to Driver Edward George Felmingham, 91st Field Company Royal Engineers, who died on New Year’s Day 1945 comprising, 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, 1939-45 Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal, unnamed as issued with Army Council Condolence/Bestowal slip (1949293 Dvr E.G. Felmingham) and Postal box of issue. Very fine

Edward George Felmingham was the son of Mr and Mrs A.J. Felmingham and was the husband of Mrs P.E.M. Felmingham of Great Yarmouth, he lost his life on the 1st January 1945 and is buried in Ophemert General Cemetery, Netherlands, he is the only Commonwealth War Grave located in the cemetery.

Sold with Condolence/Bestowal slip, box of issue addressed to Mrs P. Felmingham, 6 Wood House Buildings, Saxon Road, Great Yarmouth, a Royal Engineers cap badge and original photograph of Edward and Mrs Felmingham. Worthy of further research.
