An emotive Father and Son Group

Father:

Private Harry S. Pentelow, Army Ordnance Corps, comprising 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals, (028581 Pte. H.s. Pentelow. A.O.C.), as issued.

In lid of transmittal box with original folded ribbons, sold with an On war Service badge numbered (212584).

Son:

Jonas Henry Pentelow 5th Battalion The Norfolk Regiment who was Killed in Action on the 26th January 1942 in the retreat from Malaya into Singapore. Comprising 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, 1939-45 War Medal, unnamed as issued, very fine as issued.

Medals contained in lid of original transmittal box addressed to Mr Pentelow, “St Clement” Station Road, Snetisham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

Sold with Norfolk Regiment Cap badge made into a Brooch.
