An Unusual Silver War Badge awarded to Private Ivan Charlesworth Notts & Derby Regiment, West Yorks and Royal Engineers Who was Discharged on the 14th of December 1918 Accidentally Wounded on the 17th of June 1918, Abdomen and Thigh. Comprising Silver War Badge ( B201854), lacking pin otherwise very fine.

Ivan Charlesworth enlisted at Derby on the 15th of August 1917 aged 18 a Pony Driver by Trade. He was accidentally wounded in the abdomen, two 5inch long scars and the left thigh a scar 5 inches long, both flesh wounds and non-penetrating. He was discharged on the 14th of December 1918.
