Early Anglo-Saxon, Primary Phase (c.680-710), Series BIA/C, Sceat, double diademed bust right, within serpent circle. Rev, bird above plain cross, flanked by annulets, 1.20g (S.777; N.126; BMC 27b; Abramson 56).

Dark cabinet tone with subtle amber mint undertones, consistent detail on both sides, near extremely fine, rare so well preserved.
