Description

Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Sceattas (c. 710-760).

Silver Sceat, Series R3, ‘Rigold’.

Obverse: Bust right, pyramidal neck, ^ and annulet to left, runic EPA to right.
Reverse: Beaded standard with symmetrical symbols and central pellet-in-annulet, crosses at sides, Ts at corners.
