Anne (1702-14), Shilling, 1702, first draped bust left, legend surrounds ANNA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields (pre-union), angles plain, six strings to Irish harp, central garter star, date flanking top crown, reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REG, (S.3583; Bull 1385; ESC 1128).
Dark grey toning graduating into a lighter grey in the fields, the portrait proficiently struck with a pleasing expression on the Queens face. Rev, somewhat mottled in tone, all the shields boasting cleanly struck details, free from any major nicks or scratches. Graded and encapsulated by NGC as Mint state 63.
