Augustus (27 BC – AD 14).

Silver Denarius, mint of Lugdunum, 7-6 BC.

Obverse: CAESAR AVGVSTVS [DI]VI F PATER PATRIAE, laureate head of Augustus facing right.
Reverse: [AV]GVSTI F COS DESIG PRINC IVVEN[T], Gaius and Lucius Caesars standing facing, each holding spear and with hand resting on shield, simpulum and lituus above, [C L CAESARES] in exergue.
