Holloway 18th (1st Public Works Pioneers) Battalion The Middlesex who was Killed in Action on the 8th August 1916 comprising 1914-15 Star, (PW-259 Pte. C. A. Holloway. Middx. R.); 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals, (PW-259 Pte. C.A. Holloway. Midd’x R.), lightly toned very fine.

Private C.A. Holloway is buried in Dernancourt Communal Cemetery, Somme, France and copy page from British Battalions on the Somme by Ray Westlake.
