Great Britain, Warwickshire, Birmingham, George Hollington Barker (1735-1802, lawyer and coin collector, 7 The Square, father of George Barker), White Metal Halfpenny Trade Token, dated 1797, obverse: shield of arms, crest a bare-chested warrior armed with spear and shield, G H B in ornamental script below, BIRMINGHAM HALFPENNY around, reverse: figure of Justice standing within a sunken oval, FACTA AEQUATO EXAMINE PENDIT MDCC XCVII around, edge plain, diam. 30mm (Dalton & Hamer “The Provincial Token Coinage of the 18th Century” 67b).

Good extremely fine, a few scrapes and some carbon flecking, one edge knock, rare.
