Burgred (852-74), Penny, late phase, after 866, horizontal style, diademed bust facing right, legend reads BVRGRED REX. Rev, moneyer Huthere, legend reads DMON/HVDERE/ETA, the O in MON surrounded by four pellets, reverse type D, 1.20g (N.426; S.941).

Struck on a full flan, unusual bust style with a rarer moneyer, some flatness on Kings bust. Fine.
