Burma, Ciengmai, copper/silver alloy Tok money ingot of 20 Ngoen / Tamlung, 17th-19th century, 71.19g, 47 mm., circular, convex with opening on top, this with yellow and red glaze, stamp of 2 characters on rim on back; an unusually good and complete specimen, the blown dome usually breaks, and was then considered of less value (Kr&Mi (Siamese Coins) pl.B02-3; R & S p. 27; Mitch. 2800-1). Good very fine, wool padding inside cavity.
