Acting Captain R. G. H. Linzee, C.B., C.B.E., R.N. Robert Gordon Hood Linzee was born on 26th January 1900. He was the son of Alexander Grovenor Linzee and Ethel Oakley Galpin He married the Hon. Ellinor Aileen Cecil Craig, daughter of James Craig, 1st Viscount Criagavon in 1929. He and Hon. Ellinor Aileen Cecil Craig were divorced in 1946.
