Carausius (AD 286-293).

AE Antoninianus, ‘C’ mint.

Obverse: IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius facing right.
Reverse: PAX DENTIA, combined Pax and Providentia standing left, holding branch and cornucopiae.

(RIC 305 var).

Good Very Fine or better. An interesting double strike resulting in the combined reverses of Pax and Providentia.
