East Wiltshire, Uninscribed (c. 50-20 BC) AR Unit, ‘Upavon Moon Head’ type, 1.02g. Celticised ‘Moon Head’ right, hair of crescents, ‘sun’ on chin, wheel to right. Rev. Stylised horse left, with feather tail, pellets-in-annulets and wheels around. (ABC 2128; VA-). Extremely Fine. Scarce. Sharply struck. A superb piece.
