Charles I (1625-1649), Halfcrown, 1643, Oxford mint, smaller King on horseback left, Oxford plume behind, rough ground below, initial mark rosette both sides, rev Declaration in two lines, three Oxford plumes above, the central plume much larger, date and OX below, 13.28g (Bull 607/26; Brooker 900; N.2420; S.2963).

Struck on a slightly uneven flan with a pleasing horseman, darkly toned, good very fine for issue and rare.
