Charles I (1625-1649) Halfcrown, Tower mint, group IV, type 4, mintmark triangle in circle. Horse foreshortened with no caparisons, king with sword upright and double sash flying from shoulders. Rev, oval garnished arms, no CR, 12.24gm (S. 2779; N. 2214). Very Fine, strong portrait, but clipped and underweight as such.
