Charles I (1625-1649), Shilling, Tower Mint, group F, sixth crowned bust left, value behind, initial mark triangle in circle (1641-3) both sides, rev long cross fourchée upon quartered shield of arms, 5.99g (Brooker 549; Sharp G1/2; N.2231; S.2799).

Toned, weak in parts and uneven in shape, otherwise a bold very fine and scarce.
