Charles I (1625-49), Sixpence, Briot’s second milled issue (1638-39) mintmark anchor above mullet, crowned bust left, value behind, inner linear circles both sides, legend commences CAROLVS DG MAG BRIT FR ET HIB REX. Rev, mintmark anchor, square topped quartered shield of arms, over long cross fourchée, legend reads CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO, 3.02g (S.2860; N.2306; Brooker 729-30).

Adjustment marks on obverse, synonymous for the type, struck on a full flan, well detailed obverse, slightly weakly struck to reverse. About extremely fine.
