Charles II (1660-85), Shilling, 1663, first laureate and draped bust right, legend surrounding CAROLVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, interlinked Cs in angles, garter star at centre, date flanking top crown, six strings to Irish harp, legend reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX, (S.3371; Bull 500; ESC 1022).
